Here at The Mayflower, we’re proud to say that our community is a standard bearer in the industry – and 2023 was full of achievements that made life here better than ever. Just as we strive to create a worry-free environment where residents can grow, learn and pursue their passions, we’re also committed to helping our Life Plan Community continue to excel with each passing year.
With 2024 right around the corner, there’s no better time to reflect on the milestones of the last year. Here are just a few of the highlights:
- Award-Winning Healthcare. Our brand-new Healthcare Center once again received the prestigious Governor’s Gold Seal award for excellence – one of only 13 skilled nursing facilities statewide to do so. Distinctive by design, the four-story, 84,842-sq.ft. center delivers outstanding service in an environment that’s comfortable, homelike and state-of-the-art.
- A Go-To Gathering Spot. As we celebrated the grand opening of our latest landmark expansion, our stunning Club House took center stage. Blending elevated style and inviting warmth, the venue bridges the gap between diverse functions – including a new restaurant, elegant wine bar and lounge, game and card area, and theatre room with lounge chairs.
- Brand-New Flavors. One of the most exciting new additions to our campus was Cru Quarters, a sophisticated, eclectic restaurant led by award-winning Executive Chef Patrick Tramontana (formerly of Antonio’s Maitland). Featuring seasonal menus and fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Cru Quarters takes diners on a tour of internationally inspired cuisine with finely crafted wine pairings from around the world.
- Transformational Dining. But Cru Quarters isn’t the only new offering on the menu for Mayflower residents. At our existing venues – the white-tablecloth Winslow and casual, pub-style Grille – our culinary team refreshed the classics with zesty new recipes and a selection of signature cocktails and mocktails.
- Commitment to Excellence – and the Community. We take great pride in our Winter Park roots, and that makes the accolades we receive from the community especially meaningful. In 2023, The Mayflower – once again named Best Senior Living Community at the annual Chamber of Commerce’s “Best of Winter Park” event – was also honored by the City itself, which proclaimed October 31 “The Mayflower at Winter Park Day.”
