This October, The Florida Business Journals named 12 key professionals who are building the healthcare infrastructure for our state’s aging population — and our very own Steve Kramer was among them. Learn more about his accomplishments and you’ll understand why he has been recognized as a leader in the future of Florida’s senior health.
As president and CEO of The Mayflower at Winter Park, Steve has played a major role in the forward-focused expansion of our community. Under his leadership, The Mayflower has added the Bristol Landing neighborhood, with 50 independent living units and a new clubhouse. The comunity has also opened Allerton Cove, our 84,842-square-foot healthcare center, providing much-needed new accommodations for memory care residents.
The Mayflower’s phased expansion was part of more than $100 million in upgrades — the largest in our community’s history. The results of these projects continue to be recognized for their impact. For example, our healthcare center has recently retained its Governor’s Gold Seal Award for Excellence in Long-Term Care from the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
Congratulations to Steve for this recognition — and to all our team members who support the success of The Mayflower at Winter Park.
