like a luxury apartment building than a retirement community. “Our apartment is gorgeous; the staff takes care of all our problems; and we feel totally secure,” Dot says. “We don’t ever have to worry about those things anymore. No house. No lawn. No weeds. It’s such a relief.”
Active participants in the community’s extensive exercise programs, the Clines say The Mayflower is conducive to good health and longevity. “The environment here encourages health and fitness,” notes Bill. “Living here keeps you active. There are so many things to do and so many good people to share them with. It’s a wonderful family atmosphere . . . no wonder people live so long!”
