GOVERNOR’S GOLD SEAL AWARD

Mayflower Healthcare Services Meet
the Highest Standards

Governor's Gold Seal Award In 2016, The Mayflower Healthcare Center was once again chosen to receive the Governor’s Gold Seal Award by the Florida Legislature’s Panel on Excellence in Long-Term Care. The award, which is given every two years and is in effect through December 2017, recognizes skilled nursing facilities that meet exceptionally high standards for quality of care. Only 23 of 682 licensed long-term care facilities in Florida (less than 3%) received this prestigious honor.

To be eligible to apply, a skilled nursing center must be ranked within the top 25% of the facilities in its region. Criteria for the Governor’s Gold Seal Award include results from past annual licensure surveys, lack of any substantiated complaints, and status with the Ombudsman Council, which advocates for residents of long-term care facilities.
